The February 15
meeting of the Beth El Ner Tamid Board of Trustees was called to
order at 7:45 p.m. by President Al Simon. Harvey Kaufman, David
Kazilsky, Nancy Kellman, Fred Meyer, Robert Peterman, Neal Plotkin,
Al Simon and Ilene Wasserman were present. Barbara Abrams, Melanie
Bandos, Ava Bortin, Jane Chester, Alan Marcuvitz. Robert Rudman,
Deanna Spanjar, and Rodney Ugent were excused.
COMMITTEE REPORTS
Men’s Club:
Neal Plotkin reported that the Purim
Carnival will be on February 28 at 12:00 with the Religious School.
Everyone is invited. The 10th annual World Wide Wrap was
on February 7. Beer and Bible continues on the first Monday of the
month.
Sisterhood:
Ilene Wasserman reported that the annual Donor Luncheon was on
February 7 with author Maggie Anton discussing her new book
Rashi’s Daughters:Rachel.
French cuisine was served.
Items discussed:
1.
The congregational Seder.
2. A monthly
birthday Shabbat service honoring and blessing those who are
celebrating birthdays each month.
3.
Membership correspondence.
4. Duties
and responsibilities that will be part of an agreement between Beth
El and the interim Rabbi.
5.
Nominating committee personnel.
